Haunted Knight

Hello everyone, this is my submission for the ZugZug’s challenge based on a gothic theme.
I aimed for a WoW-style hand-painted textures, but with a more sombre tone to complement the story.
I tried to tell a sad story of a knight who is haunted by the ghost of his maiden.
She was killed by the lord of the land for refusing to be his, and in a fit of jealous rage, he ordered her execution, under the charge of blasphemous acts.
Now the knight visits her crypt often in search of some kind of closure and forgiveness for not being able to protect his beloved.
